Making Money From Home is Possible

If you're looking for ways to work from home, then you're in the right place! Here, I will show you how to make money with ShareASale.

Have you been thinking about making the move to work from home? More and more people want to be their own boss and work when they want. But some never take the plunge. Pretty much everything nowadays is driven by the internet, and working from home has never been easier.

If you're thinking about starting a blog, signing up with ShareASale is a great place to start to make money from your blog.

What is ShareASale?

ShareASale is an affiliate network and has been in business for 19 years. They have over 3900 merchants and their reputation in the industry is well-known for being a fair and honest business.

ShareASale is a very user-friendly site.  They have a minimum cash out of $50 and one way to collect is directly to your bank account for convenience.

Some merchants have promotions on too. When I joined Grammarly, they offered me a $25 bonus just to add their links or banners into one of my posts. Other merchants require a bit more effort. But hey, you're going to promote them anyway. How easy is THAT to make money with ShareASale?!

But what is an affiliate network?

I hear you! An affiliate network is made up of merchants and publishers. Merchants are businesses and publishers are people who sign up to become an affiliate to those businesses.

Take me for example, I've signed up with ShareASale as a publisher. Then I apply to the merchants that I want to partner up with, thus becoming their affiliate.

Now, you don't just apply to any merchant. You need to pick the ones that you think will complement your blog. Better yet, apply for something that you are already using yourself. People love a review!

Affiliate marketing

When you are accepted by a merchant you can then start promoting. This is what's called affiliate marketing, and this is the fun part because this is where you start making money!

There are many ways to promote an affiliate. You can write a review, show a tutorial or compare the product/service by featuring two or more similar products side by side.

Once you've decided on how you're going to promote your affiliate, go ahead and create your content. I find it easier to write my post first then put in the links and banners.

This way, I'm also proofreading my work, two jobs done at the same time! #bloggingwin

Add Links

When you're ready to add your links and banners, log in to your ShareASale account. Find a tab that says LINKS, then click on GET A LINK/BANNER.

Here, you will find a list of all your affiliates and you just choose the one you're promoting. For this tutorial, I have chosen PicMonkey.

Then you'll see text links, banners etc for you to choose from. If you're using text links for example, pick the category you want to promote then click on get HTML code.

You will then get a code to copy and link it to the texts you want in your blog post.

And there you have it!

Affiliate marketing really is a great way of making money from home.

It's great because once your post is published and has gone live on the internet, your links are out there ready for you to start making money!
